At the moment I just have an R6 due to the fact I help instruct on occassion with Lone Star Track Days in TX (www.lonestartrackdays.com). It only runs 10.8s@127 because it isn't lowered.

I was running a ZX9 in the Texas Shootout but got tired of the blatant rules infractions. It was running low 10s. I used to have a CBR1100XX and it ran 9.8s back when the 'busas first started coming out. I would beat them pretty regular until they weleded the clutch dogs and lowered them.

Drag racing bikes is definitely cheaper than roadracing. But I find that spending an hour on the track at a time during an endurance is the way to go for max grins, for me. I still race on and off with the CMRA.

8.4s? Competition Eliminator?

One of my two import "kills" lifted because he was losing so bad and no one who lost will ever come talk to me. Lots of spectators ask about the truck but no losers
