in all seriousness, those are some good times. nothing like hanging out all day, waiting to see who the first one is gonna be to open the cooler, then after that it's try to cover the beer up with food so you can have the last one. if that fails, you wander around to other camps, chum it up with the fellas, enjoy more cold brew, stumble back to your trailor, sit around, thinking to yourself that you have to wake up early, and then race the next day with a hang over, nothing can beat it.

I totally believe you. I wanted to go down the last two years but it just wouldn't work out for me. I'm going to try and make it down to at least "something" this year.

i want to make it to one of the other events as well, but since i got out of the navy, money has been on the low side and school along with taking care of my son have priority. not to mention, i would hate to drive more than 3-4 hours and post up the same crappy time i can post up at home.

My work vacation schedule sheet comes out in February and I usually don't know any of the years events until much later so I never get a chance to plan.

Yeah that would work out nicely. I guess I could leave one week open and not schedule it. According to company policy I just need to give them 2 weeks notice for when I want a week off.
