Can you swap a LS2 style intake onto a 2004 4.8 out of an extended cab Silverado? Just wondering I know about the 4 bolt to three bolt adapter but not sure about fuel rails injectors and map sensors stuff like that is confusing if anyone has done it before please post pics or comment something also what type of engine is my 4.8 lq9 lq4? Yeah you could but it's not worth it to me. You'd have to use the throttle body adapter and get different fuel rails that work with the intake. Plus I think the truck injectors are taller than the LS2 injectors, so either swap those or use spacers on the fuel rails.

All of this would require a custom tune as well. Can't just bolt it on and drive it.

The 4.8 is called the LR4.

Still needs a tune, belt reroute, harness rework (or just leave it)

and worst of all. it won't perform better than what you have

but you can put it on there no problem except for some parts mixing

the truck intake will flow better on the bottom end where you need it in a truck, anyway, and require fewer mods to even do a Gen4 truck intake swap.

truck intake was designed to produce more low end torque to get these heavy bricks moving.
