Dear GM-Trucks.com/SilveradoSS.com Visitor,
Thanks for checking back with us! As you can see we're having some slight problems. On Wednesday the Apache HTTP server on the rack that we use to serve GM-Trucks.com froze. This prompted me to try to remotely reboot the server. Unfortunately, after initiating that remote reboot, the server did not respond. Somehow the boot tables on the drive had become corrupted, and thus was not allowing the server to boot properly.
After a server restore, we are back at least to this point. The data from the old drive is SAFE. We expect to lose NOTHING. The only annoyance is the time it will take to accomplish the recovery on that data. So we please ask that you bear with us. The main portion of the site should be back up this evening, with the forum hopefully by Sunday night, or at the latest Monday or Tuesday. We are trying our hardest to get back 100% as soon as possible, but will not risk losing data to get back any sooner.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at Outage@gm-trucks.com
