Can anyone tell me where the camshaft position sensor is located on my 2000 5.3 z71

Top center rear of engine.

yeah, just imagine you were pulling the motor in your truck (intake removed) and where is the first spot that's gonna have clearance problems.... you guessed it, many of cam position sensors have seen their death by this method
