TTT still not working right.

here is the updated diagram but you need to Switch 30 with 86, and switch 85 with 87 with the wires switched i got one fan on high all the time( truck off).

anyone with any other ideas?

thunder550 has spend hours helping me figure this out (thanks) and hes all out of ideas.

Somebody please double-check this for me. I have looked over it several times and I can't see anything wrong with it. The diagram above should be correct, I have all of the pins labeled correctly now (they were wrong before). Lance, since I already updated the diagram above, make sure your relays are wired up exactly as shown.

OK let's troubleshoot a little bit.

1. Check each relay to make sure that they are working correctly. Disconnect all of the wiring from both relays. One at a time, connect pin 86 to ground and 85 to +12v you should be able to hear the relay click. If this checks out, do the other one the exact same way.

2. Take the wire coming from the Nelson blue PCM wire and touch it to ground. Both fans should come on low speed. Remove the wire from gound. Fans should shut down.

3. Take the wire coming from the Nelson green (a/c) wire and touch it to +12v. One fan should come on high speed. Remove the wire. Fan should shut down.

If these steps work ok, then your Nelson harness is working fine and we know your new relays are good.

4. Take the upper relay in your pic and connect as shown in the diagram. Do it in this sequence: 1)Connect pin 87 to ground. 2) Connect pin 85 to +12v 3) Connect pin 30 to the Nelson PCM wire 4) (This step turns on the relay, you should hear it click and both fans should come on low) - connect pin 86 to ground. If this works successfully, remove pin 86 from ground. This will turn off the relay and shut the fans down.

5. Take the lower relay in your pic and connect it as shown in the diagram. Do it in this order: 1) Connect pin 85 to +12v. 2) Connect pin 87 to +12v. 3) Connect pin 30 to the Nelson a/c trigger wire, between the diode and the Nelson harness. 4) (This step turns on the relay, you should hear it click and one fan should come on high) - Connect pin 86 to ground. If this works successfully, remove pin 86 from ground. This will turn off the relay and shut the fan down.

If all of the above worked, then you have it wired correctly and there are no problems. At this point, if you connect both pin 86's to ground both fans should come on at high speed.

Try this and let me know what happens. Everything looks ok in your pic above, but there's gotta be something wrong somewhere. One of your relays is working correctly (this is why you are getting one fan on high), but something is wrong somewhere with the other one.
