ok i changed my battery thursday last week in my 2005 silveratdo 1500 extended cab. with 67000 miles on the od (stil factory battery by the way) and i have the dual ac controls. I left for florida friday morning and the truck set outside all weekend and when i get in it this morning i crank up the heat and notice that its only blowing out the defrost vents reguardless of what i set it on!! what the crap!! it may have been doing this after i changed the battery (well the guy at orielys did it) but i didnt notice i drove it back to my house for all of 10 minutes after that and it sat until this morning.

you guys got any advice?? i did a search and didnt see this problem anywhere

 

Search this section for "repark procedure" or "blend door actuator" and you should find the procedure to reinitialize the system...

 

got it i was searching for the wrong thing before, that fixed me up thanks man
