Automotive A/C can pull 6-10 HP down to run. Automotive A/C is the most ineffiecent cooling made!

No hasn't happened since. It did happen after a run down the track. I was only able to find the option to disable it. "AC Bump Tq Spark" enable/disable. Wasn't able to find the actual table it referenced. I would see 16-18* of timing pulled when the A/C clutch cycled at cruise. Felt like a damn parachute being dropped out of the back of the truck.

Yes, the recurculation pump. The 05's have the recurc. pump button next to the a/c button. It keeps the outside eliments outside the cab. It loses more power than the a/c. that's why I said the both of them. It sucks because I hate getting behind someones car that smokes and breath it in ,and have the lose hp.

I'm not familiar with a recirculating pump either, but it sounds like what they 'used' to call max-A/C. On my '00 Sierra, the button to activate maximum A/C has an icon for recirculating air in the cabin. Beside it was the button showing air from outside the cab being 'conditioned'. Is that what you mean? Yeah, it definitely drags the power down more for max AC.

I hate having to inhale some dirtbags smoke when following them, then they usually throw their frickin butt out and it hits my truck!
