Default Burning wire smell

Weird, I just noticed this today. When i shut off the truck and get out, I notice this burning wire smell coming from the driver side. It's not in the cab, and I poped the hood and can't smell anything there either. No visual evidence of a problem either. Anyone???

I get that exact same smell too! I was gonna post up on it. I couldn't find any obvious probs so I let it go. I'm glad to hear someone else has smelled it.

Since something smells like burning and its not under the hood.... probably has to do with the exhaust.

I have noticed that too, in the past few weeks. I will look around when I change the oil next week.

I will break even with Gap insurance!!

If I were to do it over, I would get a 01 and slap in a 408 with a 4L80 and some other goodies on the loan, and the payments would still be lower
