brake pads for towing? 2500hd
#1
stock pads are still going strong even at 110K on the clock and pulling a trailer everyday.
i had to replace an abs sensor and notice there is some cracking to the pads so i want to get rid of them.
they are factory spec pads, which i priced out at 222 retail at the dealer.
thats a high price to pay for pads, but they have lasted this long, and they do not throw out a spec of dust.
whats pads are you running? i have looked into the wagner. i dont want to make a mistake and ruin my braking in my truck.
thanks.

If you want an excellent brake pad for towing, then get the Hawk Severe Duty brake pads. These flat out stop with heavy loads. Ran them on my Yukon and now on my Escalade and tow a 7500 lb enclosed trailer. If you looking for clean, then get ceramic pads, the truck pads stop almost as good as OEM and keep the wheels clean.
