Your truck looks great as is right now but droppng your truck would set it off very nicely, especially with your new wheels. Other than that, I would defintely keep the two-tone and leave everything else alone on the body. Maybe a painted front bumper cap would look cool. Do you still have the pin striping?? If so, remove it.
I'm leaning toward taking a break from the power mods. No I haven't done any adjustments on the front end. 2" shackles in the rear just to level it. Still have the blocks in the rear that I could take out and you are right, supose there are enough guys that have done the drop via cranking it down to go that route. I am worried about loosing ride quality.

I've posed the question about the color change on a local board. They all agreed about the solid color. It does look okay in photos but you get it in the right lights in person the colors just don't work between the wheels and the accent. Need either a solid color or do the accent to match the wheels. Need to improve my photoshop skills and do all this stuff there before I decide on it.

Yeah I've pretty much decided to lower it. Can be quick, easy and cheap. Looks like I'll have to learn how and paint my own door handles. Can't find them in my color.

It's guys like you pushing me onward. I can't take the pressure! Stop it.

I'm betting gears would help a little. I can't believe the G80 is still together either but I honestly don't thrash it to much. Always straight line when I'm on it and really hard launches are done in 4wd. I am starting to feel some strange shifting going on in the rear sometimes now.

Only turning about 4400 through the traps right now. Have lots of room for gears.

I would do a Eaton in the read first off.
Then I would look in the 90mm J-tube deal -or- I would look into upgrading to the 122 or 112hh ?? blower. BlownChevy keeps telling me that they are both nasty blower and that the upgrade is worth it.
Heads wont yeaild much, unless they are matched to the cam and the blower that is on there now perfectly.

Im shooting for the lower 12's with my radix lq4 this coming weekend. I think you can get a few more tenths out of it by tweaking the tune and suspension. Also try some weight reduction. What is your current race weight?

About 5400# with a 1/2 tank of fuel. Could drop about 200# off it easy. That should equate to a couple tenths. Guess I could test my suspension theory fairly easy also. Just chain the front end down.

Here's a good calculator for gearing vs. speed. You could definately stand more gear.

also a bunch more calculators to play with:
