I second the palette and truck line idea. We ship by truck all the time at work, so it would be cheap for me, but I dont know what the published rate would be.

Finally got off my butt and weighed them, only about 58lbs each. The reason it was so expensive when I guesstimated 75lbs. is because there is a huge price jump after 70lbs. I think I am going to go with FedEx ground, it seems to be around $120 to ship to most places I checked out. Thanks for all of the input.

It was around $150 to ship my old wheels and tires to California if I remember right. It was actually cheaper for me to ship them individually through UPS than it was to load them all onto a pallet and have them shipped via trucking lines (multiple carriers come through my plant every day).

I was able to ship a set from Texas to Florida through the US Mail for right around $100 with delivery confirmation a few years ago. Might want to check with them and see if it has changed much.

You need to check with discount tire. They have their own trucks going from store to store. Go talk to someone there and say you need to have your take off wheels and tires shipped to store XYZ in Colorado for pickup. The buyer will need to have a store nearby and go pick them up (or have them mounted). It was cheaper than the true shipping companies last time I checked.

I'll be shipping my 22's to Illnali after the money gets here.. I was planning on FedEx ground. It's by far the cheapest and most reliable. I have shipped wheels and tires before through them.. 75 bucks for 18's, so not to bad on prices. Just make sure that you ship each one separately.
