Default Best match/quality/price OEM seat leather for a GMT800?

Interior on my 2006 SS is nice other than the usual driver seat bottom cracking/wear. So with that in mind I'm not looking to do the entire interior, just replace the bottom leather seat cover. I can't imagine there's more than a couple actual suppliers of the covers though I've seen/heard varying degrees of quality and color match, and pricing.

Can anyone here recommend where to buy from, with actual experience on the product?

When it still used to look pretty decent.. 7 years ago

Thanks!
Richard

Honestly I just took my truck to the local upholstery shop and they got an exact match. And when I say exact match I mean exact.

Yeah, that's a pretty sure way to get it done.. I'm looking for a DIY solution myself. There's a local place that has great feedback and the product looks good, I'm gonna give them a call and see if I can swing by to actually compare it first-hand before buying.

There is a Dallas company that apparently has some bad *** seat covers, like full seat cover which I believe is what you are looking for. I have not used them myself but I have talked to them before and they were incredibly helpful

I'm taking a small gamble on the local place. If it sucks I can always send it back. Will report here with results though I'm not sure when I'll be able to commit the time to doing the job.

Dallas you say? My 99 extended cab had the typical torn leather front (power with annoying slop) seats. I got a local quote for $1200 to reupholster them...in vinyl. That seemed to much for me, so I just swapped the the cloth setup with jumpseat. Mine are that neutral tan, so those are hard to find. $150.

I was thinking of just throwing away my original, but will probably hang on to them. Maybe.

It's that website posted earlier, theseatshop.com

Saying that though, I have had my seat repaired twice now by Cal's Top Shop in Fort Worth and they have literally an exact match.
