Well nah, the Dmax is an LD motor... the Cummins is an MD. If Dodge would put that Allison behind their motor I'd have one in 2 sec. That 47RE just isn't that good of a tranny. I love the solid axles on the 3/4 tons tho'. I am really beginnin to look at a used Powerstroke. F350 has Dana 60s!

I think a NV4500 will be used. But I dont think its a stock NV4500.

Lord I hope not. We grenade NV's behind SBC's in the rock crawling community and I can't imagine what could possibly be done to it or the clutch to hold 2K lbs of torque! But then it's not like he is going to get traction anyway.
