i was at an autoparts store today and talked to a guy that was parked next to me. he had a late 90's Ram Pace Truck. you know the one that is a blue reg cab and has 2 white racing stripes. it sounded pretty mean. had a nice aggressive exhaust. i asked him what he had done to it. and he said that it was stock, except for the lowering kit. i guess it came with Borla exhaust. sounded nice though. i asked him if he knew what it did in the 1/4. he said 15.8. i was a little surprised since it was a RC. i guess he can't get traction. he was going to install posi. i told him that i ran about 15.3. couldn't tell if these guys knew much about trucks. i should of asked him to race.

 

Yea my brother in law has one of them. Except its the 1998 SS/T Dodge Ram truck w/5.9L, he says it pulls strong? Ive been wanting to race him with my 01 GMC 4.8L. What do you thinkg the outcome would be? Hes is stock, and I only have the K&N FIPK/Hypertech III. Its a pretty cool truck white with blue stripes.

Eh, Dodge's are trash. Owned one, and all I can say is they are nothing compared to these trucks. The 5.9 is crap. East oil like a desil and has more quarks than a Yugo. Oh, and did anyone mention that a rcsb weighs more than a ecsb silverado? Yeah, you'd take him. Thouh, he might have you for traction, all that weight over the rear wheels. :burn

 

My step brother used to have one and he kept runnin his mouth about how fast it was.When my truck was stock except for a borla exhaust it beat him bad.He was speechless.His truck was slow.I know for a fact that a 4.8,or a 5.3 could eat them alive with no problem at all.

 

Cool I think ill challenge him one of this days. He doesnt really likes to race but I think he wont back down. Hes more of a anniversary/special edtition car kind of guy.He used to have a 1989 Turbo Pace GTA, sold it and now is thinking of getting a 1999 anny trans am (white/blue) but thats a different story. Will see ill post the results when ever we race, if he accepts the challenge, laters.
