I thought that a company just came out with them and are testing it as we speak before they start production. I know someone around here knows something. Since they call their truck a hemi can I say I kill hemi's? NO, because a real hemi is a 426!

Yeah, the above sites are all OK. Biggest flaming on the DTW site. Just mention the aftermarket availability for the Hemi and watch everyone go limp! I have not gotten flamed yet for being an ex-Silvo owner but I do chime in from time to time to keep things real. It's amazing how many folks trash talk without having any first hand experience. Even more so when those of us with the first hand experience are slammed with Hemi envy.
Oh well, I'll just keep building LS1's and enjoying my Hemi, too! Peace.

Oh, and still no blower out for the Hemi! Aftermarket hits again. Superchips just put out a programmer that seems to work. The rest of the hop up shops should soon follow.

So far, no blower for the Hemi. Here are a few times that I have seen:

STOCK (in good air)
Reg cab: 14.7's, 14.9's seem to be average
4 Door: 14.9's, 15.3's seem to be average ( I went 15.18 )

1 thing to note is that the Hemi has a "150 hour break in program" that really limits output. I went 15.65 before, 15.18 after, with no changes. So, if you run a Hemi that is fairly new, it won't be as fast.

KB has had that blower in the works for some time now. I think the word on DTW is they hit a wall at the prgramming and put it on indefinant hold.

Yes the "new" hemi does have hemisperical heads, thats why they call it a hemi But as for programing does dodge have anything like the ls1edit or nelson?? I know they have a handheld programer but from what I can find thats about all they have for a tuning program
