jw i have a 02 z28 with a few things done, with the spray it pushes pretty good numbers and i decided to retire it as the daily driver and picked up a 04 hemi dodge ram shortcab/bed no option truck to bang around town.. jw if anyone else had one and had run it at the track or put any mods to it? I thought i was getting one to abuse around town and save miles on the z28 but my buddy's fully loaded extended cab, lots heavier, with 33 inch tires instead of 30 inch tires... lot less gear, went 9.54 at 78mph stock in the 1/8th lol, so now im thinking of throwing some stuff on the truck to see the 8's/13's.

Go check out this site...

Some of the times seem BS and others sound about right. Just look around and see what they are running for mods... A lot of the guys are really cool but some are total asses and seem to run in packs. Most of the threads I have been in have been free of the jerks and only the cool people entered.

If you hit the DTW site look up Hemi777. He is the king as far as what mods are good/bad. I think he was one of the first to hit low 14's on motor only.
Only bummer is that there is just about NIL for aftermarket on the Hemi, mainly due to DC not sharing the computer stuff. The 04 model does not have a programmer yet, this has been my best power mod so far ( 03 models only tho ).
Bright side, STS is releasing a turbo kit shortly ( Jan 1st ). This will be the first major power adder short of N2O.
Good luck, have fun!

I have an 04 QC hemi Ram and it's a great truck. Ktmrider is correct, there is very little aftermarket for the Hemi right now. Dynatech does make some good looking long tube headers but they are kind of pricey, JBA and Edelbrock have some mid-lengths out I think. They is no tuner for the 04's yet, three companies are saying Spring of 05 for that. There is an on going debate whether or not a CAI even helps because the of the engines Speed Density system not seeing the additonal air a CAI brings in like a MAF system would. Some guys have run funny gas with good results so there are some things out there, just not alot.
