Just curious if anyone really does this, its off the gm maintenance for 75,000 mile list (I haven't done it, surely going to though)?????
Silicone grease on weatherstrips will make them last longer, seal better, and not stick or squeak. Apply silicone grease with a clean cloth. During very cold, damp weather, more frequent application may be required.

i don't use the silicon grease but i do use armor all everytime i clean my truck. never noticed anything wrong either. but silicone might be better. i just don't ever remember to buy any when i am at the parts store.
