Anyone bought or checked out the '07 Silvy yet?

I had some time to kill the other day and stopped up at the stealership since I saw some '07s up there. Purely out of curiousity I was looking at a crew cab Z71 and the first thing I noticed was how massive the truck was. May have been because the trucks sits so much higher than mine but the interior seemed a little more spacious as well. I'm still not real fond of the exterior stylings and haven't been since someone posted a pic a few months back. It's not any more attractive in person. However the interior styling is a HUGE step forward IMO. Finally something interesting in the door panels, dash and guage cluster designs. That's one place I have always felt the NBS (well not NBS anymore I guess) trucks really lacked in. So what do you guys think?

I know what you mean they really did there homework on the interior its big and comfy looking and high quality too, as far as the exterior I dont find it sits higher or anything, but I didnt like the looks at first but I find it grows on you, though I think I like the classic style more

At the dealership here they had a Classic and a new style CC Z71 parked right next to each other and they are the same height. Supposedly the new ones are 3" wider in the front, which is probably why they designed them with the flared fenders.
The body seams and door jambs are a bit smaller, the fit & finish is pretty tight.
I don't like the lower part of the body, mud and rocks are going to sling all over the side of the truck, and you are going to have rock chips all over the rocker panels and lower part of the door.

I took a GMC Crew Cab out for a test drive. 5.3, loaded with the work-truck style dash.
It was nice, handling was great, very comfortable and it drove quiet like a car. It seemed kinda slow compared to my truck, but I guess it should since it's heavier. I notice the steering felt a little strange, I didn't make up my mind if I liked the way if felt.
