i have had excellent luck with TR and I have only ordered small stuff from them. i will be purchasing a cam in the next few weeks and they will definitely be getting my business since they were extremely helpful in answering my long questions and I spent less than $50 with them!! some of my questions were about parts i was buying from another vendor and they still took the time and answered all of them.
chevycoonass- you must have caught a salesmen on a bad day based on what i have seen from them. i wouldn't hesitate to purchase parts from them again in the future.

I have seen this car and met jason first hand and it's legit.
I have also done business with thunder in the past. Customer service was outstanding on the few bolt on parts for my truck. They were also very helpful dynoing it also.

well, that is pretty quick for a 346 and i havent of any other problems on their customer service.
but doesnt GeorgeC have a 346 short block? i think it ran a best of 9.99 or something like that this season.
either way, both setups are very respectable. As are both companys.

Just my .02. Thunder Racing was great to me, when I ordered from them. I live in Alaska, and they had problem with the shipping, and went out of their way to get me the stuff at no xta charge, and were happy to help me with it. They even emailed me a day or two later thanking me, and asking if I was happy with the service! Awesome service to me. Sam

Moving to NON-TECH .
BTW, my .02 is they are both great. I have not delt with Futral, but have heard great things. I have spoken with the guys and gals at Thunder and I think they are great people to.

Every time I go to TR they're a big help. They even take the time to show me what they are trying to explain to me by taking me into the shop and pointing out differences in the iron and aluminum block, rockers, etc.
On the other hand, when I go to Futral's I get the feeling he doesn't have the time to talk to me. Sure, he's got plenty of car's to work on, but I mostly see him on the phone when I go there. Don't get me wrong, he knows his stuff and will be doing my gears, but maybe it's just that he's got a small business and does all the work and answer the phones as well. I never see anyone else there.
But you won't go wrong with either one.

Yea 53gmc Allan is always really busy he just hired him so new help 2 weeks ago.Its been crazy around there with him getting his new shop ready and all.
slowV6truck,I never said anything was wrong with there SALES dept. I simply said I've heard that before.About jason99ta,yes he does have his name at the top of there "fastest 346 n/a" list but unlike our site they don't have a "out of commission" list

I have dealt with Thunder Racing on a few occassions and will return to them for all my future needs. They have been extremely helpful and not once did I get the impression that they did not want my business. I am sorry that you may feel differently, but maybe you should give them another chance.

Well after hearing all of your replies, I guess I will have to give them another try. About the age thing, I am 27 years old so I don't know?
If they do it again, should I just ask for a certain guy? Do ya'll know anyone there?
