I agree, its getting ri-damn-diculous! You are still faster than me so don't worry, you are still beating someone. I have always thought your truck was bad ***. Here I am trying to get into the 14s and right when I almost get there I get heavy 18s that probably put me back to 15.3s or higher. Looks nice but damn, I can't get out of my own way now as compared to before.

 

don't be so sure the 18's are gonna hurt you. but that depends on the tire size and overall weight.

 

They are pretty heavy. Also tire size is 285/60/18s. The tires do stick nicely though and I got rid of my sound system so it should hopefully even out.

 

All i know is that when i ran my 12.6 @104 i was number 7 on the list. now i am like number 27!!!!!!! Its not fair. I can only race like 5 months out of the year and i was broke for 4 of them last year

 

Back a year ago when I ran a 12.9x I was extatic to be like #9 on the list. Now a year later and nearly a second faster, I am not even close to being in the top ten. I dont know how much more the ole 5.3 has left in her. Looks like it may be time for a new setup.

 

im amazed at how much faster these trucks are getting. i love it!!! if it want for you slow i would have never found this site.

your setup is sweet. i would love to have a 12.5 on motor. my Z71 is going to be going to be getting a new heart in a couple of months, just so i can sleep at night. my 15.3 just isn't cutting it anymore.

as long as the videos keep coming i dont care how fast these trucks get.
