Anybody know anything about the new jeep with the HEMI?

I saw it on an Auto Program ( It was on the speed channel)
It ran a 15.25 in quarter. I had a Jeep and I think there junk.
Mabe they will put the HEMI into a Dakota?

i heard that they were also gonna put a small diesel in the liberty's. a buddy at work is a die hard jeep fan and he said we are supposed to be seeing them soon.

Yeah the diesel in the liberty is gonna have something like 250hp, 300trq something like that.

Jeeps are IMO. I would much rather have a Z71 Suburban. However 15.25 1/4 is something I cannot argue with.

So if the Jeep with a HEMI runs a 15.25. Then why/how are the Rams with the HEMI running so much slower.

Cuz the Jeeps are uni-body construction = a light 4000 lbs!!!

yeah.. I used to have a grand cherokee. They are pretty quick for SUV's.

They share the same motors that the Ram's, etc. have and they are pretty freaking light w/ AWD and 373's.

Aside from those heavy dodges, these HEMI jeeps have alot of potential.



.. I'm not a fan of the IFS though.. seriously it's "JEEP"
