I just watched every truck run tonight on the VCR. There were some really fast times being posted up! I also finally got to see the 12.67 run. I'm still not dipping out of the hole very good. I think I'm going to try the sway bar removal and see if that helps. What did that new model extended cab truck have done. I think it was black. It ran a 13 flat on my 12.6 run. I saw alot of 12s and low 13 sec runs. I also saw blacksheep rape a camaro. I'm going to get a copy of the tape to Flyer ASAP.

Flyer- Just pm me your address and I'll get that tape sent out to you Tuesday.

I find, with the sway bar attached, the suspension would soak up the first inital hit, then unload the rear and start to spin as the shocks pushed the bed back up towards level. With the sway bar pulled, the front end rises and transfers weight rearward and doesnt pull back down so quickly allowing me to get going without any wheelspin. The best test i did, was left the bar hooked up for a couple passes with a best of 1.97 with wheelspin. Then I unhooked the endlinks on the sway bar and did the same launch style and rpm with a 1.87 60ft with little or no spin. If im going to the track for some serious racing, then my swaybar is pulled every time.
As far as drivability goes, in a straight line its unnoticeable, but around corners, the front end leans pretty good. Its nothing you cant handle and i have been driving around with my bar unhooked since the shootout and dont plan on hooking it up any time soon. Its easy to unhook and rehook up, but it also helps out on street tires too. With the new setup the GT2s need all the help they can get.

I got great traction by removing the sway bar also. I will agree with Quick on this

Flyer, just got my email from Best Buy telling me the Dazzle with be here Wednesday, so I'm going to use it to edit out the car races and just get the all the truck runs on film. Then I'll email you the truck vids together and let you edit them how you will. I will also be trying to get me a nice vid with background music/editing. I'll get it emailed to you when it comes in.
