Gee ... I wonder if this is why he's on his 4th engine?

Get him to get a set of ARP rod bolts and see if that helps the bottom end last.

I think he's change them on one of his previous one's and it obviously didn't help.

I can't believe that thing pulls that high.

Is he slinging rods through the block or what? By the time he's replaced all these engines, why doesn't he do something about it and get some forged rods and/or a crank.

I can't even see how that cam still makes power up that high. Especially with no head work! Hmmm...somebody's cheating. Hehehe. Is he running a solid roller cam, because hyd. rollers usually have issues above 6500. I think there's a lot he's not telling you.

Anyway, nice pics Deck. It's like I was there. I think I'm gonna go drive around with one headlight now and my tailgate off so I can let everyone know I mean business! JK.

He works at a dealership so he gets motors for close to nothing. It's a very good chance because he doesn't like to say much of whats done to his truck. You'll never know exactly what's done to it. He said he's gonna put his heads on in a week or two so we'll see how this goes. This engine is not even broke in yet. has about 6,000 miles on it and probably won't make it to 10. He's building a 6.0 for it and plans on running 11's.
