Default Another which truck thread

Well my truck is paid of and like everyone else I want something newer nicer and with more power, so Im in the market for a new truck. The 1990 Diesels for sale and Im hoping to get about 3500 out of that and got about 1500 saved right now. So Ive been looking and I got these two options tell me what you guys think.

First option ($12,500) 2003 Chevrolet Silverado arrival blue 4.3L 4x4 rcsb work truck
Im really considering this because its fairly new and only has about 60,000 miles on the clock and I absolutly love arrival blue but not so much the 4.3

Second option ($12,500) 1999 GMC Sierra RCSB 5.3 4x4 fully loaded Z71,
I also really like this one because its already got the v8 and it has alot more options but its kinda overpriced for the year, though it does have some mods,

both are about a 3 hours drive away. And for me I like the long box as much as the short box, because the long box i can put a tool box in and carry my tools with enough space left for my dirtbike, but the short box is just damn sexy but I loose alot of that space that I would like to have. SO what would you guys advise me to get?

IMO, try for the z71. You are right that its a bit overprice but it is OBO so start around 10k and see what they'll come down to.

That work truck will be a complete bored to drive with a 4.3 in a fairly large truck.

I agree. z71 will have better resale value also.
