airbag light on after engine swap

Default airbag light on after engine swap

so i recently did a engine swap from a 5.3 to a 370 but now my airbag light is on? did i miss something or will i have to reset the light ..i have checked the airbag plugs under passenger seat and everything is connected.

There are airbag sensors on the front of the truck too, behind the bumper area.

I'd double check those plug in's and wires.

Did you disconnect the steering shaft to get to the driver side motor mount? If you did it may have rotated the steering wheel and messed up the clock spring. Check grounds to the frame as well...

i will have to check the sensors behind the bumper. i did not disconnect the steering shaft when i was installing the engine or when i was removing it.

Start by getting the code pulled, that will tell you where to look.

It may just be an unfortunate coincidence.
