Default Aftermarket Steering Wheel

Who here as installed an aftermarket steering wheel on thier NBS truck? I've got my eye on a couple of different Grant wheels but according to Grant, all that is available is ring trim for the stock wheel. Seems they don't want to get involved with air bags and such. What solutions have you guys used? Any air bag errors or warning lights after removing the stock wheel?

ive got the denali wood wheel in my ext cab. but have done alot of billet steering wheels at work, easy to do takes 5 minutes, but your airbag light will stay lit, unless you pull the bulb out of the cluster.

I figured the light would stay on. I'm thinking I can get away with just a standard GM truck (pre-airbag) install kit. Thanks for the info.

its very simple. 5 mins tops. hardest part is bolting the wheel puller on. you just have to turn the wheel so that the side of it is at the top of the collumn and there are two holes, use a small flat screwdriver and insert into the top hole and gently push down releasing the clips. then turn the wheel over and repeat. if you need further help just pm me. ill take some pics if needed, if someone will host them for me.

I used the Billet Specialties column for the older trucks on mine and it works just fine!
