Default Aftermarket brake guys...how long are your pads lasting?

Is anyone getting the same 70-80k miles out of their aftermarket brake pads that the factory pads deliver? I want to do bigger brakes but I don't want to have to change pads any more often than I do now. With 157,000 miles on the truck I am on my second set of pads and original rotors.

thats pretty good man i dont think your going to find better longevity from the aftermarket. with my alumasports i think i got about 15-20k out of them. i now have the 6 pistons and they seem to wear about the same maybe a little faster. if you do ceramics im sure the pads will last longer . but the rotors will need to be cut 2nd time around for sure and you can only cut the baer rotors once before the slots become to small.

From my experience, more pad life = reduced stopping power and dust. OEM type pads are easier on the rotors also. How many miles do you put on the truck now? If you cut down your brake pad life to 30-40K miles is that too low?

my factory pads went ~110k... put hawks on there with new rotors and burban calipers all around and the pads look like they just came out of the box with about 10-12k on them right now

I wouldn't mind 30-40k. 20k is too low.

Just looked at my notes and I got 27k out of my Baer Alumasport pads and rotors. I didn't think that was unacceptable.
