Default AC problem?

I have a 2005 silverado, and everytime I turn on the AC I get this smell..like if someone left wet clothes in the truck or something? My dad says it could be the AC isn't releasing water? I haven't checked. But I'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem, and if so how they dealt with it. It's pretty gross bro..

Theres a drain tube under the dryer on the fire wall. it should be dripping water.

my brothers work truck had a dirt dobber clog up the drain.. his quick fix was to kick a big hole in the HVAC box.. it drained water really good then! and the floor stayed cold on the passenger side. I dont suggest that quick fix..

If that doesn't fix it GM has a evaporator coil cleaner you wash the evap with and then mist in through the max air door with the hvac on and cooling. If you live in a humid environment the problem is especially bad as the microbal growth goes nuts in the above environment. Wet socks smell describes it the best.

Thanks for the help man! The truck came from Cali, but I would sure describe Miami as humid!
