an AC nightmare, someone please help...

I am sure this is something most of you have had a problem with.
For the past week my ac has been acting crazy...shutting on and off, barely blowing, etc.. I have been on the move to figure out whats wrong, need some opinions.
Now when i turn it on i can def. hear the compressor kick on and shut off when i turn it off, so HOPEFULLY that's not the problem.
I have checked both the fuses and they are good.
So i have come to these conclusions i either:
Have a bad electrical connection somewhere down there.
or the switch has gone out, i took it somewhere and we took the panel under the passenger seat off (you know right where the ac is blower/motor is) and the motor would come on and off when it wanted or if i kinda moved it..
Do you guys think it might just be a switch?
When it does blow it's really cold, so i dont think it's low on freon..
Has anyone had the same problem?
I really dont want to replace the entire blower motor, cause things hardly ever go out.

if its the blower motor itself turning on and off by , sounds like your blower motor resistor might be going bad/and more than likely the resistor connector is melted as well @ the resistor

Check the resistor on the blower motor.... i think you will need a 5mm or 6mm socket?? its small
