AC condenser Q - excessive water
#1
Quick Q here -
AC condenser on my 05 sierra seems to leak like a ****, waaaaay more than any other car I have seen. AC running, stop, etc. go into the store, come out and it looks like someone took a long **** under my truck. Water is all the way out back past the rear bumper and ends in a pool about 2ftx2ft or so.
This morning - havent run the AC in a few months, hop in my truck and turn key to accessory power (did not turn it over) and I hear whats sounds like someone peeing in my driveway. Car is not running, not on ac and the condenser puked water (about a large big gulp cups worth) in my driveway.
Have you all noticed excessive run off from the condensor like this or do I, yet AGAIN, need to take this truck to the stealership?

The condenser is behind the grill, the evaporator is what the water condenses on and drips off of. You might be losing refrigerant, which would cause the coil to frost or ice up.
