Default AC blows hot on pass side?

I did a search and turned up nothing - but I know I've seen posts on this in the past.
Basically, my climat control is blowing ONLY full hot on the passenger side, while drivers side is operating normally. Then I get in a second time and its only blowing out the defrost. I've had a new head unit installed last fall, climat senors replaced and checked all fuses. If I recall correctly, when it blows ONLY DEFROST its some sorta over-ride/failsafe mode? Haven't checked for codes yet...R/

From what I've researched, it seems like the blend door actuators are prone to failure, just have to figure out which one. There is also a "park procedure", or "re-park", that resets the actuators, you could try that first. If you search for "actuator" or maybe "blend door motor", something should come up.

Budhayes is correct. You should try the "re-park" procedure first. Otherwise it may be the blend door or the temp valve actuator, either one.

mine ALWAYS does that after a tranny swap. But if I reflash a tune it goes right away, or after a few starts it fixes it self.
