Default About to buy my first project car

Yep, I'm starting to get a little more money in my truck and every day seem to be taking the daily driver out of the truck, so I've decided to buy my neighbors car. I plan on driving it like it is for now, and then when I decide to stop spending on the truck, build me a nice track car. The car is a 94 or 95 Pontiac Firebird. Right now it has the v6(hey, wanting to save gas right now and spend on the truck only!) It is black, the paint is in great shape, the interior is dirty, but not torn up at all. The only thing is it needs a tranny. Anybody know if this car came with a 4l60e or not? I have no idea. I figure I can get a tranny for this car for pretty cheap, considering it won't be built right now, just stock. I'm talking to the guy right now, and it looks like 1200-1500 will bring it home. I figure the sky is the limit with this car once I stop modding on the truck. I really want to do some crazy turbo setup, but who knows, I might just put a fart cannon on it, a wing and body kit, an Autozone graphics kit, and some underbody lights with a sticker on the back that says, "My other car is not a ricer." I'll burn that bridge when I get there.

It will help to have another vehicle to drive when your truck is under the knife. That will make it easier not having to rush to get it all back together.

You can put your 4.8L in that car.

Already got that sucker sold. When I'm happy with the truck, I'm just going to start over fresh with the car. I always need something to spend my money on. I would hate to have to just put it in the bank. What good would that do me?!?
