Bought a 99-02 mirror to replace a damaged power/heated mirror on my 2005 Silverado, didn't know the wiring was different until I had the door panel off.

Just trying to figure out what wire goes where on the mirror from the 2005 harness. Which wire to splice into which.

Connector wire pinouts are as follows on each
2005 mirror
Pin 1 red/white
Pin 2 white
Pin 6 purple/white
Pin 7 black
Pin 8 black

2002 mirror
Pin A orange
Pin C two white wires same pin
Pin D purple/white
Pin E red/white
Pin F red/black
Pin H two black wires same pin

If anyone can help me on this it would be greatly appreciated, I'm sure it's been done.

 

I can help you with the 2002 side. I'd say you have a passenger side mirror due to the purple/white wire, yes?
