Default 97 Chevy truck with LS1

I was wondering if any one here has done a swap with a LS1 in 90's 4X4 truck with a LS1 and all the things needed to do it.

I don't know of anyone in this forum who has done that but, there might be someone in the "Conversions and Hybrids" section that has. If not I'm sure they could help you out. I'm going to put a copy of this over there and leave this one open also.

I think "Farmtruc" has. But yeah, the conversions section is a pretty good place to start.

Farmtruc's is 2wd but, you're right.

I apologize Allen for forgetting about your truck.

Yeah that's the problem I keep running into, people with 2 wheel drive trucks not 4 wheel drive trucks.

Ahh, then I recomend trying this site to see if they have anything under their chevy section.

Pirate 4x4

Do some searches in the Chevy section to see if you can find anything. A word of caution about posting there - some are hard core rockcrawlers, and that site is dedicated to it. If you ask a question that's already been covered, they will flame you big time. I'll look around to see what else I can find on it while I'm surfing. Good Luck!

2wd or 4wd it would still be basically the same for the engine swap. Look on ls1truck.com

88SS, I have done the swap into a 4wd. See my post in the Conversion and Hybrid section. It is not the same as a 2wd. The front differntial makes it a much different situation.
