my old truck ran dead even with 96 z m6 bone stock...the truck had ASMs UPD hpp3 and was on 20s at the time...ahh the good times of just pucnhing it with out a worry in the world....

 

I had a Heads/cam 98 Z28 'vert 6 speed with most of the bolt-ons and 4.10 gears. The car was a bi@tch to take off in on the street or at the track, but get it rolling and it was a monster. I ran a 14.0 at 109 in the 1/4 and it was spinning thru third gear. ON the highway, it'd go from 60 to 130 insanely quick! Still the fastest car i've EVER been in. I would think a truck would have to be putting out almost double the horsepower to have taken my car from a highway speed roll to 130ish. Aerodynamics and automatic tranny work against a truck too much. Half the trucks on this board run better 1/4 times than I ever did with my car....that's just the difference between cars and trucks I guess.
