And I hope GM programs them to shift better than the Pontiac G8's. Lots of complaining about the shift quality on the G8 sites.

They do that to an extent if a specific truck you want is not available on the dealers lot, but not to the degree you'd like. Actually you'd think they'd be able to do it any way you want since they start out with a rolling chassis and just add parts as the truck rolls down the assemble line

According to WideOpen, the 6.2 is a whole another beast compared to the 6.0. He says the 6.2 revs a lot faster and feels much stronger.

And according to GM, 5.3L reg cabs will get the 6L80E mid-year. Believe it when I see it. If it does happen, it's gonna be a tough decision for me...

Ext-cab 6.0 or reg-cab 5.3???

ps. I didn't go drive one, it rained all weekend.
The disk brake 14 bolt would be cool. RCSB L92 6l90e 9.5" disk brake 14 bolt and a turbo.

Most people aren't willing to pay $40k for a rcsb truck so that's probably why you'll never see one.

its starting off in your top end trucks and eventually trickling down. I wouldnt expect to see a whole lot of RCs with the 6-speed. I see the majority of them end up being special orders IMO.
