The 4.8 has a different crank I believe pm mjhoward he has done the research on that swap he knows for sure what you can and cant do

Where did you get your T-56 bro? How much did it hit your wallet for? Did you have to relocate your shifter hole in the floorboard?? Thanks alot man

P.S. I hate that fuggin whining noise too

See this guys webpage. He did a T56 swap in his truck. But it was a 5.3. Swap will be the same.

Yes I did have to cut a knew hole in the floor. I paid $1200 for my t-56. There is a pic of the new location on my website, in the gallery.
