my friend is buying a 1980 2WD Stepside, he wants to do a Vortec 6.0, 408 stroker, turbo and T56 swap in it. has anyone done this before?
would it need a lot of modifications or would it be fairly easy?
he wants it to be a killer but we dont have much knowledge so i would appreciate your help.

 

Prolly have to change engine, tranny mounts. Hope ya got a welder, plasma cutter/torch. It can be done, just need time to do so..

what knowledge do you want? the motor swap, trans swap, turbo what?
i did the motor 60e swap and it was easy, did it myself. infact i did the same swap ito a 76 nova.
