Unfortunatly its not in my truck but it is in the new Hot Rod. They go through the whole build up. Very nice

that motor is weak for what it could be. it's 450 cubic inches and they are only running a GM HOT cam in it. it needs a solid roller setup with a much larger cam to reach it's full potential. and it's not an LS6 it a C5R motor. it's definatly sweet, but it also definatly leave a lot to be desired. 550 flywheel horsepower(430-440ish at the wheels with 20% d-line loss) is nice for sure but it would be like 600+ with a proper cam

That project left you wondering why??? Fart around with all those expensive pieces and throw such a small cam in...Wonder if there were other problems
They said the guy who owned it felt that 427's were to common
Point being a under powered 450ci C5R isn't something you'll run into very often :p

Your right...why?? I like the article as far as how they do the build up. But for 25k, geeeez...for that money you think it would be over the 600hp Matt is looking for....
