how hard is the c-notch with the flip kit? I have considered 5/7 or 4/6 but don't want to have to take it to someone else if I don't have to. any pics of the work performed?

well the instructions say it can bolted on so im gonna do that instead. i'll definatly take pics of the step by step process.

i got rid of my SS wheels and put the stock 16's back on, thats why i got the DJM kit.

with the notch kit you have to cut the frame right? you have the part # of the kit you got? if I can do 6" in the rear without a c notch I might go that route also.

no c-notch for the 07 the ride is just the way i wanted it. I like to feel the road. there is no body roll. the loose shock are exadurating the bumps right now, but i'd say the ride is better than the 2000 formy I had. the acceleration feels different too. there's not as much weight transfer. It just goes. I guess I need to go to the track soon. I may go get a tune from thunder, but i'm scared of removing all the TQ management.

I had the DJM 3/5 drop on my 2001 dakota. 3" control arms, 2" shack and 3" hanger. It rode very well. The control arm failed on me. it snaped at the ball joint. I was pretty rough on it though. I used to take around the road course a lot. I said i would never buy another DJM product.
but for every day use it would probably be ok.

the hardest part on the front was removing the spindles. I thought with only 2500 miles they would come off easy, Boy was I wrong, lol. The hardest part about the rear was removing the stock bump stops. I started to do the rear, but only had a dremil tool to remove the welds . The shop that did my rear took 4 hours with an air chissel, hammer and side grinder to remove the passanger bump stop. They said the driver side came right off. the bump stops are welded on all 4 sides to the frame.
