Default 4.8 heads

hey guys im sure this question has been answered but i dont see any recent threads on it but my question is will ls2 or ls1 heads and cam stuff work on my 4.8 motor ???

Yes they will but remember there is no replacement for displacement

If your 4.8 is 2007 GMT900 bodystyle and up..... it has "LS2" heads already on it. The same casting anyway being 243 or 799. And even if it's prior to the body change the 241 LS1 heads are really no better than the 862 or 706's anyhow.

Plenty of threads on here go through this stuff over and over and over.

Just use the search function and you will find any answer you can think of.
