Default 4.8+cam+Sonoma=???

Well my brother comes home from Kuwait about August. I want a bigger motor and it looks like I'll be able to get the hookup on a 6.0 here locally. So its not a 383 like I wanted, but some heads and big meaty cam and I should be good. Now the welcome home= Take my motor out of my truck and slap it in his little Sonoma? How do u think it'll do? its not the 350 or 355 he wanted to do but its free. Giving him more money to spend on trans and rearend. What do u think?

I think your brother is going smoke you. That would be a sweet ride.

haha, dam.. really? well.. If I get traction. AJ still has a shitty time getting traction, but he does pull on me pretty dam hard once he does. I really wanna do somethin for my brother tho. My parents are gonna buy a drop kit for his truck and me and my dad are gonna put it in for him. Once he comes home I hope to have my bike paid off and a 6.0 ready to drop in. So it'd be a cool thing to do for him

Hey you just got a thousand posts!

i would rather have a 4.8 anyways, more efficient and still has alot of power! that would be great in such a light truck
