i have a 03' 4.8 truck and the plan is to put in a 05' 6.0 lq4..all im using is the shortblock and plan on puttin everything in my sig on the 6.0..my question is, will this be basically a plug and play? i dont see why it wouldnt since there basically same blocks, correct? sensors and everything should be in the same locations?? any advise would be greatly appreciated.

awsome..i was hoping that was the case. im so deep into this project, then i find out i have a 4.8 so i found a 05' lq4 longblock, had low oil pressure. but $500. ill sell the stuff i dont need off it then go through it...is there anything on them i should keep thats better then the 5.3 stuff? like intake, injectors, etc??
