Hey no problem!!! I had a freind that wanted to do it too but by the time you buy a crank for around $75 and the rods for around $50. You still need to balance the crank to the new rods and pistons... its also a good Idea to put in new rod bolts. Might as well get a small cam and springs while its apart... Yes, These things will snow ball that fast... just be prepaired.

ha. yeah. while its all apart may as well huh? maybe i should just wait and find a 5.3 or 6.0 block and start on it

If you take your time and save up, you will eventually come across a good deal. I just sold a 6.0 short block.

psh. I've got at least 5 bucks worth of pennies in that useless hole between the cig. lighter and aux power port.

I'm working on it, but after rent, phone, internet, insurance... I'm broke. That's why I'm hopin for this promotion. maybe I'll get an extra quarter out of it.

check under the seat next to the track. I must have at least $1.50 down there from the drive threw....
