Default 3 wire to 2 wire alternator conversion

Has anybody done this? I'm trying to upgrade the alternator from a 2003 (3 wire) to a dr44g from an 05 (2 wire). I did a search but cannot find anything.
What do you do with the extra wire which I think is for the brake control?

I swapped one in mine for a little while and got tired of seeing service break booster on the dic but in EFI Live now you can go in and select what terminals the alt has not sure if it will cure it or not since I had pulled mine off before that came out in EFI Live.
