well fellas, tomorrow morning me and the guys are going to install the 3" body lift on my truck.
John aka "Incredible Hulk" from fullsizechevy is going to drive down to help us out since he did his install himself. So hopefully all will go well and we'll get this thing lifted up a lil bit.
once the lift is on, i'm going to put the 33" tires on with the Welds and go buy a disposable camera and takes some pics!! Then maybe venture out to the carshow on Spencer in Pasadena. Oh, and I also installed some fender flares today as well. Pretty good, I'll have the lift, rims, tires & flares all on and the truck isnt even 6 months old yet!! Wish us luck!!

Did you get the standard Performance Acessories kit? If so, here is a little help:
The bigest pain is relocating the bumpers. Lifting the body is a quick task. I spent hours on removing and reinstalling the darn bumpers. Make sure you have several 15mm, 17mm and 19mm sockets and werenches.
The PA body lift tells you to cut a notch out in the front bumper support for the relocation. Like this:

But you really should cut off the the triangular part as well as the front "loop". Then you won't have to trim your air dam. Its more cutting, but its well worth it when looking at it from the front. Otherwise you get this:

Here is a picture of the front bumper relocation. See the spot where the triangular notch was cut out, that chrome support now goes right through that spot.

If you have any more questions, email me at richard@Z71.NET, or post them up here.
Good luck
Richard

I did mine by myself. It would have been quicker if I'd had some help. If you get it done by noon or 1, I'd be very suprised. Good luck.
BTW- there is a ground wire under the drivers seat area. Goes with the 4WD system. Dont forget to hook it back up. Autotrac doesnt work well without it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
