Why not just run 275/45/20? 285/50/20 look terrible in my opinion and you can't drop your truck and run them unless you have perfect backspacing.

Wonder is best to use 275/45/r20 for me to use for stock height for now and later drop 2/4 lower. Or you think I need stick with 285/50/r20?

It's a personal preference. I ran 285/50/20 tires in the rear of my truck as well and hated it. It's just an in between tire from the lowered and lifted look. It just looks like every other truck on the road.

I have 285/50s in Nitto 420S on my 20x8 panther realm rims, favorite tire by far. Oh, I do have 4.10s so I cant say much about the weight.

It depends on how much you drop the truck or plan to drop the truck...if you're going with a 1/3 like you mentioned, go with the 285/50, if a 2/4, then 275/45. All that extra wheel well would just swallow up a 275/45 on a 1/3 IMO.

I agree, having all that extra space inside the wheel well will just make it look stupid on the street vs a bigger tire that fills the wheel well. Almost as stupid looking as putting 14in spokes on something. Dont plan on doing alot of dead stop acceleration contests with them though unless you got some major power to get them moving. I believe that is why they are getting a bad rap from others not just because they are ugly
