25k Maintene on NNBS
#1
Hey guys I have 24k on my truck and am looking at doing 25k tune up. Not like it needs it but here what I was thinking what do you guys think?
Change Oil well obviously.(royal pruple)
Change tranny fluid: not sure if I just drain and fill with new filter or flush it and add new filter and sysnthetic. I am also thinking about a deep trans pan.
Transfer Case drain and feel.
Front and rear axles drain and fill with synthetic and add rear diff cover for better cooling. Mot sure which one
Add a higher capacity tranny cooler. Not sure which one.
New plugs and wire. Not sure which one.
New rims and tire probably
Anything I am missing.
Sorry for the spelling

sounds to me you are wanting to waste a lot of money. only thing i think you should do is the trans flush and oil change. call the dealer and ask i think the diffs and transfer case come with synthetic. If you open the transfer case and a clearish blue liquid comes out it is a special fluid. call and ask i think you are about to waste $$. but the diff cover and trans pan i like.

the fluid in your trans and diffs now are long life fluids and are rated to at least 30k.... you have dexron VI in your trans no wand that has a way better service life than the old dex III and you may want to make sure the synthetics will be ok for your trans.... i would probably stick with the dexVI unless you hear different
