I was thinking of putting these 243's on stock with .040 cometics, but i wasnt sure if i would need to have it retuned to what. my AFR according to the gauge is 12.6-12.8 WOT. I was going to get the valves lapped in and heads milled (.012) to achieve 11.1:1 with the .040 gaskets. I know its always better to have it tuned but its also better to be a bit leaner, and im a little rich right now. Im just looking at options as of now! put on now or wait and have ported. Money is tight with getting home setup and paying inspection fees.
